During a finance and audit committee workshop July 20, trustees reviewed June financial statements and related reports. Mr. Bridal called attention to a combined balance-sheet showing a committed fund balance of $4,892,202 and a current balance of $45,035,170; revenues were at 79.7% and expenses at 80.9% of expected year-to-date levels (SEG 796-816). The June investment report showed interest earned of $1,441,871.72 and total investments of $456,899,239.28 (SEG 848-850).
Mr. Bridal noted the district uses investment interest to fund furniture and fixtures for new construction and emphasized transparency by pointing trustees and the public to the district’s financial-transparency web page (saisd.org). After discussion, the board voted 5-0 to approve bills, accounts and financial statements for June 2026.
The financial review also referenced check registers, purchase orders over $20,000 and tax collection figures (2025 collections at 96.92%), which trustees may use in upcoming budget deliberations.
