The Trappe Town Council took the following formal actions on Aug. 19, 2024.
• Opening: President Schmidt moved to open the meeting at 10:00 a.m.; motion carried. • Grant application: Commissioner Jeremy Newnam moved to approve submitting the grant application to the Maryland Department of Natural Resources Community Parks and Playground Program; Commissioner Michael Sullivan seconded. Vote recorded as Newnam yes, Sullivan yes, Schmidt yes, Potter yes (contingent on the joint-use agreement being put into place), Chase abstained.
