Administrator Erin Braband presented a request from the water/wastewater department to purchase a desk, filing cabinets and a chair. The total cost presented was $1,945.31 (Amazon). Commissioner Rose Potter moved to approve the purchase using ARPA funds; Commissioner Michael Sullivan seconded and the motion was unanimously approved.
Braband also presented quotes to purchase a new street sweeper and a used street sweeper. Council requested additional information and asked staff to obtain more quotes before making a decision on the street sweeper. The council also reviewed two quotes to remove existing mulch and prepare the base for rubber playground mulch at Lakeview Park and asked Commissioner Newnam to obtain an updated price with a second layer of fabric; that item was tabled until November.
