River Ridge board appoints Keith Merrill to fill vacant Seat 1

On Oct. 22, 2024 the River Ridge CDD Board unanimously appointed resident Keith Merrill to fill the vacant Seat 1 (term expires Nov. 2026); Mrs. Adams administered the Oath of Office and staff reviewed Sunshine Law and required ethics filings.
On Oct. 22, 2024, the River Ridge Community Development District Board of Supervisors voted to appoint Keith Merrill to fill the unexpired term for Seat 1, which runs through November 2026. The motion was made by Chair Bob Schultz, seconded by Robert Twombly and approved "with all in favor."
Mrs. Adams, acting as notary, administered the Oath of Office to Mr. Merrill immediately after the appointment. District counsel Tony Pires and Mrs. Adams reviewed required ethics training, Form 1 disclosure filing procedures, the Sunshine Law and the Memorandum of Voting Conflict (Form 8B) that apply to CDD board members. The board clarified that training and disclosure steps will be completed as part of Mr. Merrill’s onboarding.
