Public-works staff said they are investigating reported slip-and-fall concerns at the Lions Park splash pad and will consult staff who helped design the facility to confirm whether current conditions are consistent with design. “We are exploring the concerns... the slip part of it and possible solutions,” the staff member told the council and said staff would provide further information if changes are implemented.
Staff also announced the final two hail-damage roof repairs are complete — the old Public Works building and the admin facility at the wastewater treatment plant — and that crews completed final inspections.
