Council repeals special-use permit for 201 South Cedar; ordinance effective Aug. 1

A presenter read the second reading of Ordinance No. 1448-26, asking the council to rescind the ordinance that established a special-use permit for 201 South Cedar. “This is the 2nd reading of this ordinance to, rescind the ordinance that established a special use permit for 201 South Cedar,” the presenter said.
Council members moved and seconded the ordinance for its second reading. The presiding officer called the voice vote and declared the motion carried. The presenter said that, if passed, the repeal will be published in the paper and become effective on Aug. 1.
