Selectboard extends Alice Holway Drive closure through June 20

The Putney Selectboard voted May 13 to extend the road-closure for Alice Holway Drive through June 20, 2026 to allow construction at a nearby pump station and to accommodate scheduled paving work.
Aileen Tulloch made the motion to extend the closure and Rebecca "Bex" Slattery seconded; the motion passed unanimously. Town Manager Karen Astley said an RFP has already been posted for paving and that she will follow up with Peter Paggi at Windham & Windsor Housing Trust about the process by which the road closure is determined and publicized.
The minutes note the road-closure sign is out of date and the extension is intended to cover both the conclusion of construction and the period while the road is paved.
