Town Manager reports public works activity and WWTF reimbursements; dumpsters ordered for Dump Day

The Town Manager reported several operational items at the Selectboard's Sept. 22 meeting: Public Works completed shur-pak and placed top soil along the edges of GBR, performed water shutoffs and road work on Cain and Park streets, and the forester is finalizing tree marking on the Florence Road forest property.
The manager said reimbursement requests have been submitted for Wastewater Treatment Facility (WWTF) upgrades (Step I and Step II) and that three truckloads of sewage were transported from the WWTF. Dumpsters were ordered for the town’s Dump Day; tickets will be processed and a list of accepted items has been prepared. A disputed water bill was also noted as paid in full during the meeting.
