Administrator Penny Griffin reported that Steve Clifton of Underwood Engineers proposed ESR 60, a modification to the sewer use ordinance, with an estimated cost of $8,300. Commissioners recalled that at their May 14 meeting they determined $8,300 was more than they were willing to spend for that task.
Griffin said Clifton recommended sending a counteroffer at a fee the Commission would be comfortable paying and that Clifton would relay it to Underwood's upper management. The Commissioners agreed to a $4,000 counteroffer for ESR 60 and asked Griffin to communicate that amount to Underwood Engineers.
