The Town of Proctor Selectboard voted on Sept. 22, 2025 to approve a memorandum of understanding with Tyler Technologies to support the town’s upcoming reappraisal. The motion to approve the MOU, including a textual correction, was made by Albert Wenta and seconded by Jay Thorton.
Lisa Wright, the town assessor, told the board she wants to eliminate the informal hearing step because she believes it is not statutorily required; she said grievance hearings are anticipated in the spring and that removing the informal hearing imposes no additional fee under the revised approach.
