The Town of Hillsborough Water & Sewer Commission approved a new manhole inspection form at its May 26 meeting. Commissioner Dana Clow said the form is "designed to be user friendly and requires minimal amount of writing," and commissioners agreed to include a manhole sketch on the form's backside to aid field crews.
The commission approved the form for immediate use by personnel. Administrator Penny Griffin will incorporate the sketch layout and distribute the updated form to operators. The change is intended to standardize inspections and reduce written time in the field.
