Commissioner Peter Mellen told the Water & Sewer Commission that the owners of 19 Whittemore Street have requested "only loam and no grass seed" for areas being restored as part of the Park & Whittemore project. Administrator Penny Griffin said she will relay that instruction to Jake Stoddard at Underwood Engineers the following morning.
Commissioners also raised questions about the warranty period for all work, including landscape restoration areas, and asked Griffin to obtain warranty information from Underwood Engineers when she speaks with them. The Commission did not take a separate vote on the planting specification; the action recorded is that Griffin will communicate the homeowners' preference and procure the warranty details.
