The accounts-payable total includes $140,125 for blasting and crushing gravel performed by Bazin Brothers, which the minutes state will be covered by the Highway Blasting Reserve Fund, currently reported at approximately $145,000.
Town officials also noted the end of a five-year contract for telecommunications service with Consolidated Communications and warned that rates will increase under the next provider; the town said staff will seek a better value. The Selectboard voted unanimously to approve the warrants "upon completion of review," according to the minutes.
