The Bedminster Township Committee approved the minutes of the July 6 meeting and two social-fair permits by voice/roll call vote.
The approved permits are for the Expect Miracles Foundation social fair on Oct. 5, 2026 (7:30 a.m.–4 p.m.) at Fiddler's Elbow Country Club and for the RNC Donovan Family Foundation and People Care Center event on Sept. 13, 2026 (1–6 p.m.) at Fiddler's Elbow. "Seeing none, take a motion to approve" the permits was followed by a second and a roll-call 'Aye' from all members.
Separately, the committee held a decision on a special-use permit connected with a LIV golf-related tournament. Officials said the application still needs several items satisfied and that although the check has been deposited staff must confirm whether it has cleared with the CFO before final approval. Committee members emphasized ensuring checks are paid and cleared before advancing high-profile events.
