Selectboard appoints two to Cemetery Commission, considers temporary road closure for tree work

Jonathan Johnson presented a request from the Cemetery Commission to close a portion of Westminster Road so arborists can safely drop trees away from power lines; the recommended detour route is Cross Road to West Hill. The board agreed to revisit the closure after Green Mountain Power responds.
The board then appointed Lome Johnson and Kemp Wagenbach to fill Cemetery Commission vacancies. Aileen Tulloch moved to appoint both; Peg Alden seconded and the motion passed.
