Town Manager reports planning, paving, crosswalk striping and equipment pricing

Town Manager Judy Frazier presented departmental updates at the Sept. 8 Selectboard meeting. She said the Planning Commission met Sept. 4 to review a subdivision amendment to the zoning regulations drafted by the Rutland Regional Planning Commission (RRPC). Paving was completed on GBR and Warner Avenue, public works painted crosswalk striping and stop-area markings, and letters were mailed to property owners regarding the General Maintenance Ordinance.
Frazier noted that mowing had been kept to a minimum because of dry conditions, and staff are looking at pricing a new loader for the public works department. The minutes also include a sheriff report in the meeting packet showing 4 tickets, 4 warnings, 0 arrests and fines totaling $517.
