The Selectboard adjourned and convened as the Board of Water Commissioners at 6:23 p.m. to review delinquent accounts and hear a bill dispute. The board reviewed an updated delinquent-account list and asked the Town Manager to provide the top five delinquent accounts with curb stop locations or estimated installation costs at the next meeting.
Phil Bennett appeared to request waiver of interest penalties on his 56 East Street account, saying he had not received a bill and only received a late-notice mailing a month ago. The board determined, based on account payments, that a bill had been received by his ex-wife and took no action; interest penalties will remain. A printout of Bennett’s account was provided to him at the meeting.
