The Town of Proctor Selectboard reviewed and signed Selectboard orders totaling $225,391.91 and opened fuel bids at its Sept. 8 meeting, awarding both the diesel and Fuel Oil #2 contracts to Marcell.
Albert Wenta moved to award the diesel bid to Marcell after the board opened a single diesel bid reported as Marcell: $3.244 +.20; Bruce Baccei seconded and the motion was unanimously approved. For Fuel Oil #2 two bids were reported: Gecha (fixed $2.99; Rutland Rack $2.72 +.35) and Marcell (capped $3.20; Rutland Rack $2.55 +.20). Jay Thorton moved to award the Fuel Oil #2 contract to Marcell; the motion was seconded by Albert Wenta and approved unanimously.
The board also authorized staff to sign the listed orders and set operational details for town services discussed at the meeting. The board recorded the total value of orders and the formal motions and seconds approving the bid awards.
