Proctor Selectboard signs assessor fee addendum, approves town payment card machine purchase

The Proctor Selectboard on Aug. 11 circulated and signed an Assessor’s addendum raising the fee to $97.50 after a motion by Selectboard member Bruce Baccei, seconded by Albert Wenta; the motion was recorded as unanimously approved.
The board also reviewed a Municipay update and reached consensus to allow Town Manager Judy Frazier to purchase a card-payment machine, which the minutes list at approximately $200. Officials said several nearby municipalities already use Municipay. The board reviewed and signed selectboard orders totaling $27,740.73 during the meeting.
The motions to approve the agenda (which added the Service Line Inventory reimbursement document) and the July 28, 2025 minutes were each moved, seconded and recorded as unanimously approved earlier in the session. The meeting record notes those approvals were handled without recorded opposition.
