At the Oct. 14 meeting the Sharon Planning Commission heard from residents Brittany and Carl Kelton, who asked whether a narrow strip of land currently enjoyed by their family could be added to their property. Brittany told the Commission she owns a 0.5‑acre parcel with a ranch home and garage and asked about adding roughly 1.2 to 2 acres from an adjacent strip owned by Kevin and Alicia Madden; the Keltons said they do not intend to develop the strip and provided a visual aid to show the proposed area.
Commissioners noted that the town is midstream revising its Subdivision Regulations and that those revisions — particularly updated rules on boundary‑line adjustments — will affect how the Keltons’ application is processed. John Roe and Paul Kristensen said the Commission will work to find the best approach under the current draft rules and directed Alexandra Babicki, Sharon Planning Administrator, to schedule a time to meet with the Keltons and to officially start the application process. The Keltons left the meeting at 7:32 PM after the informal discussion.
