Sharon board approves 1.53-acre Lyman subdivision for longtime family home

Steve Lyman told the board during the June 24 hearing that the family sought to subdivide about 1.53 acres containing an existing home (the applicant said their daughter has lived there for 14 years) from a roughly 200-acre parcel. A site visit on Howe Hill Road was held at 3:00 p.m. on June 22.
John presented the mylar and reminded the board that in April the SPC had granted the applicants a one-time waiver from surveying the entire property; that waiver will be a condition of the permit. Paul moved to close the hearing; the board later moved to approve the Lyman subdivision (motion by Dee, seconded by Lucy). John will sign the mylar and circulate a draft permit for SPC signatures early next week.
