Managers report possible field delays, spring programs and rescheduled field trips

Kevin Chrisom, park director, told the board that snowmelt may delay access to some fields this spring and that Milton Academy has been helpful by allowing department use of its fields while municipal surfaces recover.
Paul DiManno, recreation director, reported that spring basketball is starting, the Irish Step program is concluding, and staff are preparing for the Easter Festival and summer program planning. He said some field trips were rescheduled because of local busing difficulties related to the World Cup event being in town and because of later school starts after snow days.
