At its July 20 meeting the Whiteford Agricultural School Board approved a broad consent agenda that included minutes from June meetings, the June 2026 Treasurer’s Report and check register, designation of district depositories (including 5/3 Bank, Bank of America, Comerica, Huntington, PNC, MI Class and others), retention of Thrun Law Firm as district counsel for 2026–2027, and board member compensation set at $30 per meeting up to a maximum of 52 meetings annually. Jason Vida moved to approve the consent agenda; the motion passed 6–0 with one member absent (Dave Dixon).
The board also authorized administrative signatories for various accounts and functions (accounts payable and payroll, student activity, debt account, cafeteria fund, athletic account, purchase orders, contracts, and capital projects), designated the Superintendent to assume Board Secretary responsibilities, and named the Director of Finance & Business Services as Electronic Transfer Officer. These governance and financial authorizations were recorded as part of the consent items.
