Committee members received an update on assessor‑office renovations. Kurt reported that Don signed the owner‑contractor agreement with Leapart Construction and that work will be staged so the assessor's office will be displaced to a lower‑level location during construction. "Don signed off on the contracts, I believe, yesterday, and they're delivered to Leapart Construction, and they're getting ready to get started," Kurt said.
Kurt also said window replacement materials (glass, frames and screens) are shipping from different plants and are expected to arrive by the end of next week, with work beginning in August. Committee members noted the need to coordinate electrical support and space reassignments for staff during the renovation.
