Board approves performance-based contracts, recognizes new administrators and student athletes

The Livingston Parish School Board approved a list of performance-based contracts submitted by the superintendent and then called forward multiple administrators for recognition, including substitute and assistant principals at several schools. Superintendent Purvis asked those present to stand so the board could recognize and congratulate them.
The board also publicly recognized three Denham Springs powerlifters. Jeff Brazell read student achievements and athlete Gabby Hair told the board her total was "915 pounds," listing individual lifts for the judges and public. The board extended congratulations to the students and staff.
