The Livingston Parish School Board ratified the low bid of $2,547,000 from McLennan Construction for the North Live Oak Elementary School multipurpose building, following a presentation from Chris Bankston of Bankston Architects. Bankston said bids were opened on Tuesday, McLennan confirmed its pricing, and the firm is ready to enter a contract.
"The low bidder was McLennan Construction. Their bid was 2,547,000," Bankston told the board. The board moved and approved the ratification by voice vote and directed staff to proceed with contract execution and required procurement steps.
