Chief Deputy Recorder Holly Paveen told the committee the recorder's office recorded 1,323 documents during the month and collected $204,923.59 in revenue across funds.
"We recorded 1,323 documents for the month," Holly said, and she provided a breakdown: roughly $99,000 for the general fund, $45,000 for the recorder automation fund and about $61,000 for GIS receipts. She added that a contractor completed the back-indexing project of 20,000 documents and that office staff are auditing approximately 13,000 records that remain to be reviewed.
Holly described the office as about two-thirds of the way through the fiscal year on revenue and about half of the way through on expenses. The committee moved to place the recorder's report on file and approved payment of the recorder's bills by voice vote.
