Principals report to board: primary, middle, and high school updates including cell-phone practice

High School Principal Clay Henry reported increased student absences for athletics, said a pep assembly held last week required attendance after a time change, and mentioned that homecoming is upcoming and September is Suicide Awareness Month. When Board Chair Josh Skipper asked about how the cell-phone policy is going, Henry said phones are allowed before school, at lunch and in hallways between classes and that teachers are doing their best to enforce the practice.
