Superintendent Pete Peterson told the board the district—nrollment is approximately 1,353 students and that all 83 kindergarteners showed up for school. Because of the full kindergarten cohort, the district plans to hire a non-continuing kindergarten teacher for the 2025–26 school year.
Mr. Peterson said middle-school enrollment under Principal Bruce Davison is currently full, and the district may need to consider adding one or two staff members depending on levy outcomes. He noted Oct. 3 is the official enrollment count date that determines apportionment for the year.
