Council later approved Resolution No. 918, accepting Change Order No. 1 for the Sioux Rapids Health Clinic Project; that action was moved by Mike Gunderson and seconded by Kevin Thompson.
The meeting also authorized several vendor disbursements listed in the claims, notably $80,000 to the Buena Vista County Sheriff for police protection, $4,833.79 as the final tanker loan payment to the Sioux Rapids Fire Protection Agency, and $20,282.35 to Central Tax-Exempt Investment LLC for a water meter loan. Council approved these payments by individual motions during the meeting.
