During the budget presentation, staff summarized the district's capital-project priorities and multi-year vehicle replacement plan.
The presenter listed a special-education bus in 2027 and two passenger buses in 2028, followed by two 14-passenger buses in 2029 and a large bus in 2030. Staff also flagged classroom furniture for the elementary and junior–senior high, track fencing and discus-cage work, parking-lot improvements as a wish list item, scoreboard replacements for baseball and football, gym-floor and stage refinishing and ongoing bleacher and inspection work.
Chair Busco and staff discussed timing and the interaction between the capital plan and potential bond financing; the board did not vote on any capital expenditures at this meeting. Chair Busco closed the meeting after asking for any other business and with no public comments recorded.
