District to drop NWEA for grades 3–8, pilot new interim assessments for high school; Title grants audit underway

The same staff member reported that Title grants are being audited and that district staff, including Susan Friard and others, have begun the substantial documentation work the audit requires. The presentation framed the changes as efforts to focus testing and to remove some checkpoints for younger grades while piloting sharper measures at the secondary level.
