At its April 30 special meeting at the Bantam Annex, the Sandy Beach Commission introduced Lara Norris for a brief question-and-answer about the Beach Manager position. Kathy VanOrmer introduced Norris, Corinne Houle outlined the job, and commission members asked Norris about her qualifications and employment history; Norris left the meeting at 6:22 PM.
Kathy VanOrmer said she has Norris’s resume and application and will review them with the committee. The commission noted that a final hiring decision on the Beach Manager is expected in early May and that the full 2026 beach schedule will be announced at the commission’s May 21 meeting after the manager is hired.
