Board approves school fees, adds MacBook replacement charge for high school

Business Administrator Scott McMillan said the ongoing $75 programming fee covers AppleCare repairs (for example a damaged screen), while a full replacement fee of $499 applies when a device is lost or stolen.
"That $75 fee will cover" common repairs under AppleCare, McMillan said; "that $499 replacement — that's essentially if purchasing a new device" when a device is lost or stolen. There were no public comments on the amended fee schedule, and the board approved the school fees by voice vote.
