Frost described social‑emotional learning programming (Positive Action), STEM opportunities, and summer camp offerings; Mayers and partners detailed produce distribution, a winter clothing drive that delivered 1,016 new and gently used items, and plans for Youth Council leadership camp and career field trips.
Council members asked about site transitions (Millcreek taking over a Moss Elementary program from South Salt Lake) and staffing flexibility; Frost said the transition has generally gone well, with volunteers and creative staffing helping to preserve services. Mayers noted tracking improvements to better identify Millcreek resident participation and said follow‑up surveys would refine residency data. The Council received the update; staff and partners will continue community outreach and report back on outcomes and participation metrics.
