Commission concurs with agent on stone pillars at 21 Grove Street

The Essex Inland Wetlands and Watercourses Commission on July 14 unanimously agreed to concur with a wetlands agent decision approving the installation of stone pillars and a gate at 21 Grove Street.
"The property owner is proposing to install stone pillars and gate at the end of their driveway within 100 feet of a stream. There are currently wood posts there and he wants to replace them with the 40" by 40" stone pillars," Carey Duques, the town land use official, told the commission. Commissioner Noreen Brennan-Rowe moved that the commission concur with the agent's decision on Application No. 26-10; it was seconded by Carolyn Field and approved 5-0, with no discussion.
The motion records concurrence with the agent's determination rather than a separate substantive permit hearing by the commission. The application is identified in the minutes as IWWC #26-10, owner/applicant David Florian. The minutes note no public comment or conditions attached to the concurrence.
