The Midvale City Council approved Resolution 2025-R-02 on Jan. 7, 2025, adopting an updated list of board and committee assignments. City Manager Matt Dahl said the list reflects vacancies and adds Mayor Dustin Gettel to roles typically staffed by the mayor, and council members discussed reallocating liaison responsibilities now that the mayoral office was filled.
Council Member Bryant Brown suggested that the Planning Commission liaison might be a suitable assignment for the new council member. After brief discussion about committee fit and vacancies, Council Member Bonnie Billings moved to approve the resolution and Council Member Heidi Robinson seconded. The motion passed unanimously (Billings, Glover, Robinson, Brown, Mikolash: Aye). The update allows the council to revisit assignments at a future meeting if additional changes are needed.
