Board renews FPVTA membership and highlights Feb. trustee school in Orlando
Summary

Troy informed trustees that the Florida Police and Firefighters’ Training Association (FPVTA) membership renewal was due and that the association had not increased the fee for the third consecutive year. A motion to renew the membership was made, seconded, and the Chair announced the motion passed.
Troy also outlined trustee training opportunities: Winter Trustee Schools run Feb. 1–4 at the Rosen Hotel in Orlando. Trustees were instructed to email Steph Bravo to be signed up; Steph will provide hotel codes and a worksheet for receipts so trustees can track expenses and seek reimbursement as appropriate.
