During the public-comment portion of the meeting, Charlie Cotton said he does not own certain panels and is in a dispute with an installer. Alan Savage asked whether the town had recovered the full amount related to a small-claims filing against Troy Merner; Selectman Leon Rideout said the case is over, a settlement was made, and the terms are being met.
Rob Christie questioned whether the Feb. 4 and Feb. 6 public and non-public meetings were properly noticed; Selectman Rideout responded they were noticed under 91-A requirements. Christie also raised concerns about personnel certification and whether the board has been in contact with Police Standards and Training regarding an administrator’s certification; Rideout said the board has handled the matter and is progressing toward a solution.
