Council amends Dynamic Traffic contract for Old Mill Road speed humps, sets procurement schedule

By unanimous vote the council approved Resolution R2026-133 to amend prior contract R2026-69; the motion was made by Councilman William Graetz and seconded by Councilman John Casagrande. May told the council that Old Mill Road will require more extensive permits and will necessitate detours. He described the planned schedule: publish the bid in July, award the contract in August, and begin construction after Labor Day, subject to permitting.
The amendment authorizes the contractor to proceed with the updated scope for speed-hump installation; the council did not provide a final project start date because permitting remains outstanding. The council directed the borough engineer to proceed with bidding and to keep the council informed of permitting milestones and any required traffic detour plans.
