Airport staff previews property inventory, CRA-funded pre-development work

Arvin told the board Oct. 27 that the airport has an updated boundary survey and property inventory tracing ownership and changes back to a 1947 deed. The staff said the FAA helped pay for the inventory effort and that the survey will allow the airport to move forward on projects and to respond to city requests about leased parcels.
Arvin also said pre-development infrastructure work funded by the Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) — not airport funds — is underway to support a larger redevelopment area. He said he will distribute the full seven-sheet property inventory to the board at the next meeting.
