Council approves July minutes and January expenditures after minor documentation corrections

The Carlin City Council unanimously approved the draft minutes for its July 24, 2024 meeting and then approved expenditures for Jan. 3–22, 2025 after a brief review.
Vice Mayor Cameron Kinney pointed out date discrepancies on page 13 of the expenditure documentation related to invoice submission dates. Denise Taylor moved to approve the expenditures with the changes Kinney noted; Taylor’s motion was seconded by Kinney and the council voted unanimously to approve.
Mayor Dana Holbrook stated he had no conflicts of interest regarding the expenditures despite the record noting his wife's judicial position. The approved expenditure list is available for public inspection at City Hall.
