Carlin council approves expenditures and $500 employee Christmas bonuses

On the annual employee Christmas bonus, Mayor Holbrook noted staffing shortages had produced budget savings and proposed increasing the traditional $50 bonus; after discussion Cameron Kinney moved and Denise Taylor seconded approval of a $500 bonus for each of the city’s 27 eligible employees to be issued Dec. 18, 2024. The council voted unanimously to approve the larger payment.
