Carlin approves lot-boundary correction to preserve equestrian park and enable propane company sale

Mayor Dana Holbrook said a resurvey showed the Carlin Equestrian Park's corral encroached approximately half an acre onto neighboring Parcel 1, which is under contract for sale to a propane tank company. Anna Penola and Mayor Holbrook said High Desert Engineering completed Map 224.123 to correct the boundaries while preserving usable equestrian land.
Vice Mayor Cameron Kinney said the updated map provided the clarity needed. Kinney moved to approve the lot boundary changes for Parcel 1 and Parcel 2 as shown on Map 224.123; Denise Taylor seconded and the council voted unanimously to adopt the correction.
