Mayor Dana Holbrook said he would be unavailable for the Thanksgiving meeting and recommended canceling both holiday sessions to accommodate staff schedules; Councilmember Cameron Kinney agreed the Christmas meeting should be canceled. Denise Taylor moved to cancel the two meetings and Cameron Kinney seconded; Vice Mayor Johnston called the vote and the motion passed unanimously.
Council members noted that special meetings may be convened if time-sensitive matters arise during the holiday period.
