Councilmember Lyndsie Whigham moved to approve the license and Denise Taylor seconded; Vice Mayor Johnston called the vote and the motion passed 5-0.
The license approval allows Ridley's Family Market Inc. to proceed with any additional administrative steps required by state or city liquor-control processes.
