Mayor Dana Holbrook told the council he recommended taking no action on Ordinance No. 262 after receiving a request from legal counsel to hold off, and the council agreed to defer the matter. The mayor likewise said the council would take no action on Resolution 2024-10, which would amend and clarify metered water rates.
Both items were postponed for further review rather than advanced at the Nov. 13 meeting; no votes to adopt the ordinance or the rate resolution were taken.
