Dufur SD 29 adopts $12.12 million budget; board warns state corrections could cut future funding

Several members raised how state-level adjustments can reduce district funding after an otherwise positive local revenue year. Speaker 1 described the mechanism: “Then next May, we'll get a correction… This year, we're gonna have a negative correction because of the local revenue.” The board also discussed a possible reduction of 3.75 classified full-time-equivalent positions, planned to be managed largely through attrition.
