City: Harbor dredging set for in-water window starting July 1; check-dam work deferred to FY28 study

"The in water work window for the harbor opens July 1. That is the soonest we could expect to begin that dredging," Trevor said while summarizing Sam's response. He told commissioners the city can investigate whether the council could pursue a separate dredge behind the check dam, but staff has not yet been asked to do so and is monitoring the basin for changes.
Commissioners discussed sediment injection risk and asked staff to report any major changes; Trevor said Sam would provide dates and staff would add follow-ups to the commission packet when available.
