Resident urges Taylor County board to adopt cheerleading policies before March tryouts

"I would suggest that you write two new policies... One to protect the school employees and administrators... and the second is to protect the students," Freeman said, and he urged the board to have the policies in place by February 2027 because tryouts are scheduled for March.
The chair thanked Freeman and said the board would take his comments under advisement.
